NEW Plush Eco Alphabet Letters allow you to personalise your J'Jute.

J'Jute Alphabet Plush Letters are made from 100% Eco-Friendly materials and are fully Reusable. Our packaging is all Eco-friendly from our recyclable boxes to compostable stickers.

Care & Maintenance

Receiving & stuffing your basket

Upon receiving your J'Jute basket it is important that you open each piece knock out the wrinkles from eco friendly flat pack shipping and stuff your basket for 3-5 days. It is important that you stuff you basket fullly in order for your J'Jute to find its best shape. Due to the soft nature of the jute fibre all J'Jute baskets will sag slightly and this is not considered a fault but, the beauty of Jute Fibre.

Colour Variations

J'Jute baskets will vary slightly in colour from season to season. Colour variations occur due to time if picking and how much rain India has received that season. Although we try our best to match the colours each year we cannot guarantee a match. No two baskets will be the exact same colour.

Cleaning

For small marks, we recommend spot cleaning with a gentle & mild soap. Do not oversaturate the basket as jute is not water repellent and excess water can damage the basket fibers and the strength of the entire piece. Jute is prone to mold. Do not over saturate the baskets.

Shedding

For shedding, we recommend vacuuming the inside of the basket. shedding is not considered a fault.

Fraying

If there is any fraying it is at the customer's discretion if they choose to trim the loose fibers. It is very normal for the basket to fray over time with use. Simply snip the little frays away. Please, use care as trimming too much can weaken the overall structure of the basket.

RETURNS

We want our customers to love their purchase. However, do to the handmade nature of J'Jute we cannot accept returns do to change of mind. Returns & Exchanges are considered on a case by case basis by emailing orders@jjute.com.au within 3 days of delivery. If accepted, all return shipping costs will be covered by the purchaser. We recommend reusing & taping up original packaging for the return.

J'Jute baskets are soft and need to be stuffed for 3-5 days once received in order for the baskets to find their best shape after flat pack shipping. All J'Jute baskets may shed slightly and any shedding of the baskets will not be considered a defect.

To Apply:

Gently bend your basket allowing space to open in between the weaving. Gather the Two ends of the cords and push through to the other side (for Large letters you will do this Twice for Small letters you will do this Once). Tie in a Bow on the inside of the basket. To line up letters we recommend you line up letters on same row of weaving.

To Remove:

Gently bend the basket again allowing space between the weave and softly wiggle and the stings out.

Letters and basket

Amazing custom letters for a toy basket. Also purchased the smaller Bronte basket for my sons room. The letters look great (I got white) but, they are a bit hard to wiggle through the basket. Overall very happy.
